I admit that I have so much interest and passion towards film studies but sadly to say I have no absolute faith to hold on in this pathway due to unstable career opportunities and so much more. I just... need a known and secure guarantee for my future. I do not want to end up messing around. Can you understand this? The reality and the dream often do not meet and this is painful to know when you grew up. Come on, in case anyone of you are trying to say"oh see there are so many successful examples" I mean how many of us can be the lucky ones? At least me do not want to take the risk.
Anyway by far the best and the most interesting class that I've attended to was Film Studies. I liked it so much that going to the class is indeed quite a joyful thing for me. Because everytime i attend the classes, i learn new things that I like. Yay for that. And I'm glad I have a good lecturer for this subject. Ha. Although she always give us mental-torture films to watch and interpret and those disgusting scenes will be running through my head for days. Gah. Nay for that okay.
Okay, now get this clear. I am a person who watch movies for the sake to enjoy so probably if you ask me which's nice and bla bla bla I will tell you everything is nice. And guess what I can't even recognize actors and actresses. I was like, who's that? and my friends stared at me saying "You do not know who's Johnny Depp?" hahaha but after I've attended this class i seriously think some of the movies were so-so
and I'm going to list out some real awesome movies that you should've watched *wink*
So the first movie introduced by my lecturer was "Buddha, collapsed out of shame" and I don't really like it. I mean, urgh I dont see the point of it? Okay la it is telling us about the real world and things that could have happened in the third world country and kinda like remind us of how good is our lives now. But it is very hard for me to feel the empathy when watching this kind of movie so I found it quite boring but if you guys are interested you can go look for it :)
The second movie was "Old Boy" and I highly recommend you to watch this! I am not going to tell you the plot nor the storyline because you definitely have to figure it out yourself! But I can tell you that this movie will not disappoint you and I rank it 10 out of 10! But if you can't bear the grossness of some bloody scenes, I don't think you can deal with this movie because IT.IS.SO.DISGUSTING. OUCH!
Ala should stop scaring anyone of you. Heeeeeee.
Nyahahaha. and the third one would be....... JENG JENG JENG! "MEMENTO"! I think if not mistaken I've watched some parts of this during my Psychology I class. That was part of my classmate's presentation. My past lecturer has always wanted us to relate psychology theories to movies and I guess my friend did this movie. Well, I didn't expect this movie to be THIS nice. The main actor had this disease that he is unable to form any new memories due to brain damage and this made him difficult to carry on his life. Ah. Seriously this is so mindfuck. Imagine anyone of us have this disease and you were like "Oh what did I just said? Shit. Do I even know you? How did I get here? Fuck. Wait what did I just said?.........." and it goes on and on and on.. Mindfuck~
The director used the technique of temporal order and I wasn't sure if he used the BACD (flashback) method or the ABDC (flashforward) method. The whole movie was basically like rewind the tape and play and rewind more and play and you need to really digest it bit by bit. GOTCHA! And there makes the suspense of it :D
Not to mention the frustrating moments when I watched with this HoiTheng. Both of us glared at each other throughout the whole movie because as I told ya, you really need to focus and digest it. This is an extraordinary movie! Heh.
Now I have a question for you. Would you prefer to forget all about your past which is called the amnesia, or you prefer to not form new memories anymore in your life? Forget things that you've done, probably few seconds ago?
忘掉以前的回忆 也许是快乐 可是更多的恐惧 因为你对自己的过往 一无所知
也许不能留住现有的记忆能让你忘掉所有不快乐的 可是你将永远无法留住你想要保存的时光
Leave it to yourself to think.
Umm. So now I wanna talk about the movie that I've watched last night, not recommended by my lecturer but I've always wanted to watch it, word-of-mouth maybe. "INCEPTION"!
Sounds familiar to you huh? Probably everyone of you have watched it but me. Ha. -.-
So to those who haven't, inception means dream within a dream. And I like that shit. heh.
Was watching it on the train on my way back to KL from Ipoh and I get all excited during the movie that one of the little Indian girl kept looking at me and her facial expression told me that she was curious about what I was doing that time. hahaha. Overall this movie was good except the ending. Why does it have to end like this when I expect something better. Urgh so disappointed at the ending :/ And I was quite puzzle at the beginning of the movie because I do not know whether am I in their dream now or am I already back to reality. Teehee.

And today I've gone to the cinema with my bunch of awesome peeps which are Nadia, Choo, Jian and Mick :3 Initially Mick and I was planning to watch Fast and Furious 6 since everyone leave good comments on it, but because the majorities want to watch "Now you see me" so we went for that instead. And I didn't regret going for that! Hahahaha. Look, there's nothing special about this movie. No awesome sound effect, no awesome science-fiction-like effects, no, nothing. All they have is MAGIC. The whole thing was about magic. Tell us about the history of magic; the tricks in it; the numerous kinds of magics and girls love it. Aha. Okay at least Nadia and I fall for it la adui. And guess what?! I can recognize two actors in this movie! I can tell that my memory is slowly coming back to me HAHA. The girl acted as one of the magician, or you call them illusionist is Rebecca Bloomwood that acted in Shopaholic! No wonder she was so familiar when she first appeared in this movie. Heeeee. and another guy (a real cute and hot guy) which is also one of the magician has acted in Warm bodies! He's the one whose brain was eaten by the zombie. He was once the keh-leh-feh (small potato) and now he's the main actor. OH WOW :B
I enjoyed this movie, really. All kinds of tricks and surprises, girls love that, don't you? :)
Cheers ;)

grew up in a small town,
and when the rain would fall down. i'd just stare out my window.
We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be. You cannot find peace by avoiding life. I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life. Last but not least, life's hard. It's even harder when you're stupid.
